About the Author:

The author graduated from Food & Maritime Trades High School,engine department [School Ship John W. Brown] in the early 1970's. In 1999 he earned a BA in Economics from the Univesity of Southen Maine.

He has worked his way up the working ladder the old fashion way with a lot of sweet and blood working for: Seatrain Shipbuilding Corporation in the old Brooklyn Navy Yard Brooklyn, Bath Iron Works in Bath Maine, the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery Maine, Loral/Hycor a Chaff System defense contractor. The author has also worked on Foreign  Naval Vessels in Europe and South America.
